Following the article by Mary Ann Gratton about our sponsored student and the student refugee program, the Toronto Sun (April 19th - page 44) and the Toronto Star (April 27th), our city's most widely circulated newspaper, published an article as well.

The Glendon committee submitted an article about their establishment to YFile - an electronic newsletter circulated amongst faculty and staff at York University. Following this, Mary Ann Gratton at Media Relations wrote an article about the World University Service of Canada, and a short interview with Simon Kuany, our current sponsored student. Both committees (Glendon & Keele) have received their student dossiers for the 2006-2007 year. These dossiers are the profiles of the potential student refugees for sponsorship.
